Avantera Elevate vs Everyday Dose (2026): Capsules vs Mushroom Coffee

Last updated: October 2026 · By Tyler, cofounder of Avantera Health

The short answer: Avantera Elevate is a two-capsule daily nootropic. Everyday Dose Coffee+ is a mushroom coffee: one tablespoon of powder mixed into water or milk. They share three things: caffeine, L-theanine and lion's mane. Everyday Dose adds chaga and collagen protein. Elevate adds bacopa, rhodiola, citicoline and turmeric, ginger and black pepper extract. The biggest differences are format, disclosure and price. Elevate lists every dose. Everyday Dose puts all five of its ingredients in one proprietary blend, so the label doesn't say how much L-theanine or lion's mane is in a cup. Everyday Dose costs less per serving on subscription: about $1.20 vs. $1.78 (prices checked October 23, 2026).

Where this comparison comes from

We make Elevate, so this is one brand comparing itself to another. To keep it checkable, every figure below is a label fact or a listed price, and every Everyday Dose figure links to the Everyday Dose page it came from.

Everyday Dose figures come from the Supplement Facts panels, FAQ and buy box for Coffee+ on everydaydose.com, checked October 23, 2026. Elevate figures come from our Supplement Facts label and product page on the same date. Labels and prices change, and we update this page when either one does. What is Everyday Dose?

Everyday Dose Coffee+ is a powdered mushroom coffee. You mix one scoop into 4 to 8 oz of water and froth it, and add milk or ice if you like. It comes in a Medium Roast with 90 mg of caffeine (about one regular cup of coffee, by Everyday Dose's description) and a Mild Roast with about half that. Everyday Dose also sells a Matcha+ with 40 mg. This page compares Coffee+ with Elevate.

What is Avantera Elevate?

Elevate is our two-capsule daily nootropic, with 28 servings to a bottle. It combines bacopa, rhodiola, citicoline and lion's mane with 95 mg of caffeine from green tea and 200 mg of L-theanine, plus turmeric, ginger and black pepper extract. You take it within the first hour of waking, on an empty stomach or with a light meal.

Elevate supports acetylcholine, your brain's memory messenger, two ways: CDP-choline and bacopa.* 200 mg of CDP-choline (citicoline) is a source of choline the body uses to make acetylcholine, and 300 mg of bacopa monnieri (standardized to 50% bacosides) is an herb studied for how it supports acetylcholine activity.* Everyday Dose has neither.

What a proprietary blend means for you

A proprietary blend lists its total weight and the ingredients inside it, but not how much of each one. Everyday Dose's Medium Roast label shows one 9,000 mg blend of collagen peptides, coffee, L-theanine, chaga and lion's mane. The label doesn't say how that weight splits, so the L-theanine and lion's mane can't be lined up against Elevate's 200 mg and 50 mg. Everyday Dose does state its caffeine per roast on its FAQ.

Avantera Elevate lists all nine ingredients and every dose on the label, with no proprietary blends, and every batch is third-party tested. We post the certificates of analysis on our quality page.

A bigger number doesn't make a product more effective, and no study has tested these two products against each other. Use the table to see what's in each serving. It can't tell you which one will suit you.

Elevate's label also lists turmeric, ginger and black pepper extract. We include turmeric and ginger for digestive support and black pepper extract to help absorption. They aren't focus ingredients, and they aren't a reason to choose Elevate for focus.

Caffeine: about the same, from different sources

Elevate includes 95 mg of natural caffeine paired with 200 mg of L-theanine, so it is built for felt daytime energy as well as focus. Our product page puts that caffeine at roughly one standard cup of coffee and suggests caffeine-sensitive people start with one capsule.

Everyday Dose's Medium Roast has 90 mg from coffee, close to Elevate's 95 mg. Its Mild Roast has about half that, and its Matcha+ has 40 mg. Both products add L-theanine; only Elevate lists how much. If you plan to drink regular coffee too, count it toward your daily caffeine either way.

A capsule or a cup

This is the biggest practical difference. Everyday Dose is a drink you make: a scoop, water, a frother, and milk or ice if you like. If you enjoy a morning coffee ritual and want to keep it, that's the appeal. Elevate is two capsules with water, so it fits a commute or a desk, and it doesn't replace or change your coffee unless you want it to. If you'd rather your capsule stand in for your morning cup, the caffeine is about the same.

Where Everyday Dose is the better fit

  • You want to keep a coffee ritual, with a drink you can froth, sweeten or ice.
  • You want collagen protein or chaga. Elevate has neither.
  • You want a lower-caffeine option (the Mild Roast or Matcha+). Every Elevate serving has 95 mg.
  • You want the lower subscription price: about $1.20 a serving for Everyday Dose vs. $1.78 for Elevate.
  • You want a longer guarantee: Everyday Dose offers 45 days on your first subscription order, Elevate 30 days on your first order.

Where Elevate may fit better

Nine ingredients. Every dose on the label. About $1.78 a day.

  • You want to see the exact amount of every ingredient you take.
  • You want bacopa, citicoline and rhodiola, which Everyday Dose doesn't have: 300 mg of bacopa standardized to 50% bacosides, 200 mg of citicoline and 300 mg of rhodiola.
  • You want 200 mg of L-theanine with your caffeine, listed on the label.
  • You'd rather take capsules than make a drink, or you want a vegan formula. Everyday Dose's collagen is bovine.

Price per serving (checked October 23, 2026)

  • Avantera Elevate: On subscription, Elevate costs $49.95 for a 28-day supply, about $1.78 a day, with a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first order and the option to pause or cancel anytime. Charged for a renewal you didn't want? Contact us and we'll help. A bottle holds 56 capsules (28 servings). Elevate is sold by subscription only.
  • Everyday Dose Coffee+: The 30-serving subscription starts with a discounted first order and a free starter kit, then renews at $36 a month, about $1.20 a serving. The 60-serving plan renews at $66 a month, about $1.10 a serving. 45-day money-back guarantee on the first subscription order.

Per-serving figures use each brand's recurring price, not first-order discounts, which change often.

Frequently asked questions

Is Avantera Elevate better than Everyday Dose?

Neither is better for everyone. Everyday Dose is a mushroom coffee with collagen and chaga that costs less per serving and keeps a coffee ritual. Elevate is a capsule with bacopa, citicoline and rhodiola, which Everyday Dose doesn't have, and it lists every dose, where Everyday Dose puts its ingredients in one blend. Choose by format and by which ingredients you want.

How much caffeine is in Everyday Dose compared with Elevate?

Everyday Dose lists 90 mg of caffeine for its Medium Roast Coffee+, about half that for its Mild Roast, and 40 mg for its Matcha+. Avantera Elevate has 95 mg of natural caffeine from green tea per two-capsule serving, paired with 200 mg of L-theanine.

Does Everyday Dose list its doses?

Not for each ingredient. Its Supplement Facts panel shows one proprietary blend (9,000 mg in the Medium Roast) holding collagen peptides, coffee, L-theanine, chaga and lion's mane, without the amount of each. Avantera Elevate has no proprietary blends and lists all nine doses.

Can I take Avantera Elevate with coffee or mushroom coffee?

Elevate has 95 mg of caffeine per serving, roughly one standard cup of coffee. If you also drink coffee or mushroom coffee, count both toward your daily caffeine. If you're sensitive to caffeine, our product page suggests starting with one capsule.

How much do Elevate and Everyday Dose cost?

As listed on October 23, 2026, Elevate is $49.95 every 4 weeks for 28 servings, about $1.78 per serving, by subscription only. Everyday Dose Coffee+ renews at $36 a month for 30 servings, about $1.20 per serving, or $66 a month for 60 servings. Elevate's guarantee is 30 days on your first order, and Everyday Dose's is 45 days on the first subscription order.

Is Elevate a mushroom coffee?

No. Elevate is a capsule. It contains lion's mane, the same mushroom as Everyday Dose, as 50 mg of a 10:1 organic extract derived from 500 mg of lion's mane, and its caffeine comes from green tea, not coffee.
