Avantera Elevate vs Thesis Clarity (2026): Dose-by-Dose Comparison

Last updated: October 2026 · By Tyler, cofounder of Avantera Health

The short answer: Avantera Elevate and Thesis Clarity are both two-capsule daily nootropics that list every dose on the label, and both contain citicoline, lion's mane and caffeine. Elevate also has 300 mg of bacopa, 300 mg of rhodiola and 200 mg of L-theanine, none of which are in Clarity. Clarity has Panax ginseng, 7,8-dihydroxyflavone and vitamin B6, which Elevate doesn't, and Thesis also sells it without caffeine. On each brand's standard subscription, Elevate costs about $1.78 a serving and Clarity about $3.16 (prices checked October 13, 2026).

Where this comparison comes from

We make Elevate, so this is one brand comparing itself to another. To keep it checkable, every figure below is a label fact or a listed price, and every Thesis figure links to the Thesis page it came from. Thesis sells several formulas. This page covers Clarity, the one Thesis describes as its formula for concentration and focus.

Thesis figures come from the Supplement Facts panel and buy box on takethesis.com/products/clarity, checked October 13, 2026. Elevate figures come from our Supplement Facts label and product page on the same date. Labels and prices change, and we update this page when either one does. Thesis and Clarity are trademarks of their owners, and Avantera Health is not affiliated with Thesis.

How to read the dose differences

Three ingredients appear on both labels. Clarity lists more citicoline (250 mg vs. 200 mg) and a little more caffeine (100 mg vs. 95 mg). The third, lion's mane, is listed in forms that can't be lined up (more on that below).

Elevate's label adds three ingredients Clarity doesn't have: bacopa (300 mg, standardized to 50% bacosides), rhodiola (300 mg, standardized to 3% salidrosides) and L-theanine (200 mg). Clarity adds three Elevate doesn't have: Panax ginseng, 7,8-dihydroxyflavone and vitamin B6.

A bigger number doesn't make a product more effective. No study has tested these two formulas against each other. Use the table to see what's in each bottle. It can't tell you which one will suit you.

Lion's mane is the row that gets misread. Elevate's label shows 50 mg. That's the weight of a 10:1 extract made from 500 mg of lion's mane, standardized to 30% polysaccharides. Clarity's label shows 500 mg of lion's mane fruiting-body extract, with no extract ratio and no standardization. Without a ratio, the two figures can't be compared directly, so this page doesn't rank one above the other.

Elevate's label also lists turmeric, ginger and black pepper extract. We include turmeric and ginger for digestive support and black pepper extract to help absorption. They aren't focus ingredients, and they aren't a reason to choose Elevate for focus.

Caffeine: both have it, and Clarity also comes without

Standard Clarity has 100 mg of caffeine anhydrous per two-capsule serving, and Thesis sells a version without caffeine. Elevate has caffeine in every serving: 95 mg from green tea, which our product page puts at roughly one standard cup of coffee.

Elevate includes 95 mg of natural caffeine paired with 200 mg of L-theanine, so it is built for felt daytime energy as well as focus. Clarity's label doesn't list L-theanine. If caffeine doesn't agree with you, our product page suggests starting Elevate with one capsule.
