Last updated: October 2026 · By Tyler, cofounder of Avantera Health

Avantera Elevate (capsules) is rated 4.3 out of 5 from 16,192 reviews on our own product page (checked October 21, 2026), 4.2 out of 5 from 4,298 ratings on Amazon, and 4.8 out of 5 from 99 reviews on Trustpilot (both checked October 13, 2026). This page puts every rating we know of in one place, along with what independent reviewers and press have written, the criticism and what's true about it today, side effects, billing and the full label.

Avantera Elevate at a glance

Avantera Elevate lists all nine ingredients and every dose on the label, with no proprietary blends, and every batch is third-party tested.

  • Elevate (capsules) is a nootropic supplement taken as 2 capsules a day, with 28 servings in each jar. Each serving has 95 mg of natural caffeine from green tea (about one cup of coffee) and 200 mg of L-theanine, plus bacopa, rhodiola, CDP-choline, turmeric, lion's mane, ginger and BioPerine black pepper extract. The full label is below.
  • Made in the USA in an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility. Third-party test results are on our quality page.
  • Elevate Gummies (sour blue raspberry) have 7 ingredients, 3 gummies per serving and the same 95 mg of natural caffeine, from green coffee bean extract. Elevate Gummies are a separate product with their own label. Reviews of Elevate Gummies before September 2026 describe an older formula. The capsules vs gummies comparison puts both labels side by side.
  • On this page, "Elevate" on its own means the capsules.

How we collect reviews, including the low ones

Reviews on our product pages are collected and shown by Loox, a third-party review app. After every order, Loox emails the customer to ask for a review, and it puts a verified badge on reviews it can match to a purchase. On October 21, 2026, the Elevate product page showed 16,192 reviews averaging 4.3 out of 5:

Stars Reviews Share
5 stars 10,228 63%
4 stars 2,768 17%
3 stars 1,413 9%
2 stars 755 5%
1 star 1,028 6%
  • Every star rating gets published. The only reviews we hold back are ones that mention a disease or a medication, at any rating, because a supplement company can't publish health claims like those, even in a customer's own words. To read the lowest-rated reviews first, choose "Lowest Ratings" in the "Sort by" menu of the reviews on the Elevate product page.
  • What the low-star reviews say. Of the 14,577 Elevate reviews in Loox's export through April 16, 2026, 1,574 (11%) are one or two stars. About a third of those say the reviewer didn't notice a difference, which is about 4% of all the reviews. Billing or subscription problems (about 1 in 8 of the low-star reviews) and stomach upset (about 1 in 10) come next, by our keyword count.
  • What we do about them. If a review shows a billing or subscription problem, our support team reaches out to fix it. For stomach comfort, Elevate includes a little ginger root extract, and the product page suggests taking it on an empty stomach or with a light meal. We also follow up on other low-star reviews when there's something we can help with, and to ask how we can do better. How to pause, skip or cancel is below.

What critics say, and what's true today

Some of the most-read reviews of Elevate were written about older formulas. Here is each common criticism, where it comes from, and what the current label says.

Criticism Where it comes from What's true today
"The lion's mane isn't an extract, and 100 mg is too little." Innerbody's Elevate review, last updated December 5, 2025 In 2026 the lion's mane changed from 100 mg of lion's mane powder (not an extract) to 50 mg of an organic 10:1 extract derived from 500 mg of lion's mane, standardized to 30% polysaccharides. Read the 50 mg as extract weight: at 10:1, it comes from 500 mg of mushroom.
"The rhodiola isn't standardized." Innerbody's Elevate review, December 5, 2025 The current label lists rhodiola root extract at 300 mg, standardized to 3% salidrosides.
"The gummies are a different formula, with huperzine A." Innerbody's Elevate review, December 5, 2025 That review describes the decaffeinated Elevate Gummies, which are no longer sold on avanterahealth.com. The Elevate Gummies sold since September 2026 contain no huperzine A. Innerbody's September 2026 guide names them its best gummy.
"That's the caffeine you feel." Nootropics Expert, May 29, 2026 Partly right. The effect most people notice in the first hour comes from 95 mg of natural caffeine (about one cup of coffee) paired with 200 mg of L-theanine. Bacopa (300 mg, 50% bacosides) and rhodiola (300 mg, 3% salidrosides) are there for support that builds with daily use over several weeks.*
"Several ingredients are underdosed." Nootropics Expert, May 29, 2026; Innerbody, December 5, 2025 Every dose is on the label, so you can compare each one with the research yourself. Our dose-by-dose page lists them.
"Subscription and billing complaints." BBB complaints BBB lists 9 complaints in the last 3 years (3 in the last 12 months), and shows each one as answered or resolved. Avantera holds an A+ BBB rating and is not BBB-accredited. You can pause, skip or cancel anytime from your account, and the 30-day money-back guarantee covers your first order of each product (details below).

Side effects and who it's not for

Each serving of Elevate has 95 mg of natural caffeine with 200 mg of L-theanine. The side effects people mention most are the ones you would expect from caffeine, like jitters or restlessness if you are sensitive to it. Some people notice mild stomach upset when they first start herbal extracts like bacopa.

  • When to take it: two capsules within the first hour of waking, on an empty stomach or with a light meal. For Elevate Gummies, the product page says three gummies in the morning or early afternoon.
  • If you're sensitive to caffeine: start with one capsule to see how you feel before taking the full two-capsule serving.
  • Count your total caffeine: 95 mg is about one cup of coffee, on top of any coffee, tea or energy drinks you already have.

The cautions on the Elevate product page read: "Not for use in children under 12. Consult a healthcare professional before using if under 18, nursing, pregnant, taking medication, or if you have a medical condition. Do not take this product if you have liver disease or elevated liver enzymes." For Elevate Gummies, the label's suggested use is for healthy adults 18 or older.

So Elevate is not for you if you want to avoid caffeine, or if you have liver disease or elevated liver enzymes. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication or have a medical condition, talk with your healthcare professional before you start. If something doesn't feel right, stop taking it and check with them.

What customers say, and common questions

We picked the quotes below from customer reviews and show them as written. They are individual experiences, and yours may differ. The full spread of ratings is in the table above.

How long does it take for Avantera Elevate to work?

Take two capsules within the first hour of waking, on an empty stomach or with a light meal. Many customers say they notice something within 20 to 30 minutes of the first dose; that early effect comes from the caffeine and L-theanine. Research on ingredients like bacopa and CDP-choline suggests the full benefits take more than 30 days of consistent daily use.*

"After taking for just 4 days, I didn't have an afternoon crash. I feel it helped.me stay focus and on task. Will be ordering again."
Rebecca R.

Does Elevate help with focus?

Elevate is formulated to support focus and mental clarity.* The 95 mg of natural caffeine and 200 mg of L-theanine are the part you notice in the first hours. Bacopa monnieri (300 mg, standardized to 50% bacosides) supports cognition and working memory, with effects that build over several weeks of daily use.* Experiences vary from person to person.

"Elevate has helped me stay focused and I am more productive during the day. I am not spending my time being distracted near as much and it lasts all day long, without crashing mid afternoon."
Alysha Y.

"So far, so good! I'm alert, focused and staying on task. Crossing things off my "To Do" list instead of creating another list while adding more to it."
Jeff L.

How much caffeine is in Elevate?

Elevate (capsules) has 95 mg of natural caffeine from green tea in each two-capsule serving, about one cup of coffee, paired with 200 mg of L-theanine. Elevate Gummies have the same 95 mg, from green coffee bean extract, in each three-gummy serving. Each label lists 95 mg; neither form comes in a lower-caffeine version. The decaffeinated Elevate Gummies are no longer sold on avanterahealth.com, so every Elevate product we sell today contains caffeine.

How much energy will I get from Avantera Elevate?

Elevate's energy comes from 95 mg of natural caffeine, about one cup of coffee, paired with 200 mg of L-theanine, which promotes calm alertness.* Customers often describe it as steady rather than intense. People respond to caffeine differently, so if you also drink coffee, tea or energy drinks, count Elevate's 95 mg in your daily total. If you're sensitive to caffeine, start with one capsule.

"I absolutely love elevate! It gives me the energy I need to be productive at work. I'm on my feet all day moving around and I love the energy and focus it gives me!!"
Tonia B.

"I’ve only been on it a couple of days. I’m not used to caffeine so I felt a little nauseous. It does give me focus and energy without a crash."
Elizabeth M.

Are Elevate (capsules) and Elevate Gummies the same product?

No. Elevate Gummies are a separate product with their own label. Both have 95 mg of natural caffeine, 200 mg of L-theanine and 200 mg of CDP-choline per serving. The gummies take three per serving, leave out ginger and black pepper, and list bacopa and rhodiola as 10:1 extracts equivalent to 300 mg each, which is measured differently from the capsules' 300 mg standardized extracts. Reviews of Elevate Gummies before September 2026 describe an older formula.

Can I cancel, and can I get a refund?

Yes, you can pause, skip or cancel anytime from your account, with no phone call, no cancellation fee and no minimum term. The 30-day money-back guarantee covers your first order of each product bought on avanterahealth.com. Charged for a renewal you didn't want? Contact us and we'll help.
