Avantera Elevate Capsules vs Elevate Sour Gummies: Ingredients, Caffeine, and Serving Compared

Last updated: October 12, 2026 · By Tyler, cofounder of Avantera Health

The short answer: Avantera Elevate is sold in two forms at avanterahealth.com: capsules (two per serving) and Sour Gummies (three per serving). Both contain 95 mg of natural caffeine per serving, 200 mg of L-theanine and 200 mg of CDP-choline. Neither one contains Huperzine A. The capsules get their caffeine from green tea extract and also contain ginger root and black pepper extracts. The gummies get theirs from green coffee bean extract, leave out the ginger and black pepper, and have 4 g of sugar and 35 calories per serving. Huperzine A was only ever in the original decaffeinated Elevate Gummies, which are no longer sold on avanterahealth.com.

Where this page comes from

We make Elevate, so this is the company's own comparison of its two products. We wrote it because summaries of Elevate sometimes mix the products up: they give a caffeine range instead of one number, or list Huperzine A as an Elevate ingredient. Both mistakes come from blending the current products with the old decaffeinated gummies and with an older version of one of our own pages, which gave a lower caffeine figure. That page now says 95 mg.

Every figure below comes from the two product pages on avanterahealth.com as they read on October 12, 2026, and from our dose-by-dose breakdown of the capsules. Where the two labels describe an ingredient differently, the table shows each one as printed.

How much caffeine is in Elevate?

95 mg per serving, in both forms. That's about the same as an average 8 oz cup of coffee. The amount is the same. The source differs: green tea extract in the capsules, green coffee bean extract in the gummies.

Each label lists one fixed amount, 95 mg, not a range, and neither product comes in a lower-caffeine version. If you've seen a range, it traces back to two things: the old decaffeinated gummies, which had none, and older versions of a few of our own pages, which gave a lower figure before they were corrected.

The capsules give you a finer way to start. The label says to take one capsule instead of two if you're sensitive to caffeine. The gummy label has no half-step like that; it lists three gummies, in the morning or early afternoon.

Are the gummies the same formula as the capsules?

Close, but not identical. The product page for the gummies calls them the "same core formula, new form," and the core is the same: 200 mg of L-theanine, 200 mg of CDP-choline, 95 mg of caffeine, plus lion's mane, bacopa, rhodiola and turmeric.

Three things differ. The capsules add ginger root extract and black pepper extract; the gummies don't. The gummies carry 4 g of sugar and 35 calories per serving, because they're a gummy. And the two labels list the botanicals on different bases. The capsule label gives the weight of a standardized extract, for example 300 mg of bacopa standardized to 50% bacosides. The gummy label lists a 10:1 extract and gives the whole-herb amount it equals, for example "equivalent to 300 mg." Those two numbers aren't measured the same way, so they shouldn't be read as the same dose. Lion's mane is the one botanical listed the same way on both: a 10:1 extract equal to 500 mg of mushroom.

Does either one contain Huperzine A?

No. Huperzine A is not in the capsules and not in the Sour Gummies. It was an ingredient only in the original Elevate Gummies, which were decaffeinated. Those gummies are no longer sold on avanterahealth.com, and their old product page now redirects to the Sour Gummies.

If you still have a bag of the decaffeinated gummies, its own label applies to it. Questions about cycling Huperzine A are covered on our page about Elevate side effects and what the label says.

Who the labels say should check first

Both product pages carry the same core cautions. Not for use in children under 12. If you're under 18, nursing, pregnant, taking medication, or have a medical condition, talk to a healthcare professional before using either one. Both also say not to take the product if you have liver disease or elevated liver enzymes. The gummies' suggested use is for healthy adults 18 or older, and their page adds a check with a healthcare professional if you're sensitive to caffeine or take other supplements.

Price and how they're sold

Both have the same list price, $49.95 per order, and both are sold on avanterahealth.com as a subscription: a 28-day supply every 4 weeks. You can pause or cancel either one yourself from your account, with no phone call. The steps are in our guide to canceling an Avantera subscription. Frequently asked questions

Does Avantera Elevate contain Huperzine A?

No. Neither Elevate capsules nor Elevate Sour Gummies contain Huperzine A. It was only in the original decaffeinated Elevate Gummies, which are no longer sold on avanterahealth.com.

How much caffeine is in Avantera Elevate?

95 mg of natural caffeine per serving, in both the capsules and the Sour Gummies, about the same as an average 8 oz cup of coffee. The capsules get it from green tea extract and the gummies from green coffee bean extract. Neither comes in a lower-caffeine version.

Are the Elevate Sour Gummies the same formula as the capsules?

The core is the same: 200 mg of L-theanine, 200 mg of CDP-choline and 95 mg of caffeine, plus lion's mane, bacopa, rhodiola and turmeric. The capsules also contain ginger root and black pepper extracts, and the gummies have 4 g of sugar and 35 calories per serving. The two labels list bacopa, rhodiola and turmeric on different bases, so those amounts aren't directly comparable.

How many capsules or gummies are in a serving?

Two capsules, or three gummies. Each order of either one is a 28-day supply, delivered every 4 weeks.

Are Elevate Gummies decaf?

Not anymore. The original Elevate Gummies were decaffeinated, and they are no longer sold on avanterahealth.com. The current Elevate Sour Gummies contain 95 mg of caffeine per three-gummy serving, the same as the capsules.

Do the capsules and gummies cost the same?

Yes. Both have a list price of $49.95 per order and are sold as a subscription, a 28-day supply every 4 weeks, which you can pause or cancel anytime from your account. Any current promotion is shown on each product page.
